Hello again! Life has been crazy the past couple of week, and can you believe the holidays are upon us?! I cannot believe that Thanksgiving is this week!

One thing I love to do for the holidays is cook – especially bake. I’ve noticed some great holiday recipes on the web lately. Here are some of my favorites.

This site had a great post on 2 different fun sweets to make for Thankgiving. Added plus, they are super easy for kids to make too!

Pilgram Hats. I made these a few years ago, and they were so much fun.

Oreo Turkeys. How cute are these guys!

Stuffed Sweet Potatoes. Thanksgiving is just not Thankgiving without some sweet potatoes. This is a really interesting spin on the classic sweet potato casserole. Get the full how-to here.

Another great sweet potato dish, Cornbread Stuffing with Sweet Potato and Squash. This is definitely comfort food at it’s best.

Of course, there’s no Thankgiving without a little pumpkin. A personal confession, I do not like pumpkin. I know, it’s crazy. I’ve tried it so many times, but I just do not care for it. It’s really unfortunate because there are SO many great recipes out for pumpkin pies, cupcakes, breads. . .. the list is endless.

Here is a Cinnamon Pumpkin Bread that looks so good.

Pumpkin Pie Cheesecake. Wow that looks amazing!

Another great holiday staple: Apples. Since I’m not a big fan of pumpkin, this is a great alternative.

Apple Dessert Braid. This is a great twist on the traditional apple pie.

Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars. This is the recipe I’ll be trying out this year, so I’ll let you know how it goes. Judging from this picture, I have a feeling it’s going to be a hit!

What will you be cooking this thanksgiving?
